Use Chrome
- Open jcscanner.com in Chrome.
- Tap the browser menu.
- Choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
Turn on phone alerts after installation
- Open Johnson County Scanner from the new home-screen icon.
- Open Account. If needed, restore access using the email used at checkout.
- Add saved places or choose an incident type and Johnson County/city area.
- Under Phone notifications, tap Turn on notifications and allow the permission request.
Phone notifications are optional and must be enabled on the membership's active device. Signing in on another device signs out the previous one and turns off its phone notifications. Email alerts can be turned on separately from Account. The installed site uses the same live data and membership as jcscanner.com. Return to the call map.
